Indian Institute of Metals, Angul Chapter had conducted an inter school Metals and Materials Quiz and Elocution Competition amongst the students of Class XI to XII (Senior group) & Class IX to X (Junior group) on 1st September, 2024 (Sunday) at Training Center, S&P Complex, Nalconagar, Angul. More than 100 students from 9 different schools had participated in the above program and the winners were awarded by IIM, Angul Chapter.
For the Senior group, The winning teams of the quiz competition and Elocution Competition now have the privilege to represent the chapter in the National Level ”Prof. Brahm Prakash Memorial Materials Quiz 2024 (BPMMQ)” at Indira Gandhi Atomic Reactor Research Centre, Kalpakkam, to be held on 20-21st September’2024.
ED(S&P), Shri N S Subrahmanyam, Honorable Chairman had graced the occasion along with other senior officials.
Mr SS Patra, Mr T K Tripathy and K Biju were the panel of judges for the elocution competition.
In the end, Shri A K Agasti, Vice chairman and chief coordinator of the program delivered the vote of thanks and the program ended with a palatable lunch.
